A fifty dollar tear down fee will be put up to tear down an engine. To do so you must compete in that class that day. The tractor must also be torn down that day. If the tractor is found legal the owner will receive the fifty dollars, but if the tractor is found illegal the protester will keep the fifty dollars and the owner will be disqualified for that event upon being found to be illegal. You must prove yourself to be legal and lose all points up to that date to be able to continue pulling with A.M.P.I. NO EXCEPTIONS. In order to request a tear down you must be a member of A.M.P.I. must specify the reason for the teardown and it will be done by the tear down officicals with no spectators, unless otherwise specified in class rules. Lite Super Mod., Heavy Super Mod., and all Outlaw classes will be a $500 tear down fee. Limited outlaw will have an extra $50 tear down fee if the tractor is turboed.
Protest of RPM
Protest of Rpm can be requested by any person competing in the class that day to a tech member or AMPI board member. AMPI board can check PRM on any tractor or class to ensure rules are being followed. RPM check will be down by a Tech Offical and a AMPI board member with club tachometer. RPM is read once the tractor is at governed RPM.
